Real-World Applications

High-Speed Rail Channel Simulation: When high-speed trains travel at 350km/h, channel sampling must meet the spatial Nyquist criterion (at least 2 samples per half wavelength). This experiment shows how to first generate channels at low density then use interpolation to recover high-density results, saving over 90% computation time.

Experiment Steps

  1. Constant Speed Sampling: Observe uniform sampling intervals during constant speed motion
  2. Variable Speed Interpolation: Acceleration/deceleration requires denser sampling to satisfy Nyquist theorem
